ANSWER FROM DR. ROARK – Use LAVENDER with Kid’s Liquid Omegas for a healthy and shiny coat: one teaspoon Liquid Omegas per 20 lbs. of dog’s body weight daily.
FAQ – “What if my furry friend has run into some Poison Ivy?”
ANSWER FROM DR. ROARK – Lots of diluted LAVENDER Essential Oil sprayed all over the affected area three to five times a day. You can dilute with Aloe Vera Juice for extra healing.
Here are some LAVENDER recipes for various issues:
SEASONAL THREAT SUPPORT RECIPE
• 1 drop LAVENDER Essential Oil
• 1 drop Lemon Essential Oil
• 1 drop Peppermint Essential Oil
• 1 drop Frankincense Essential Oil
Use the above to create a capsule to take internally. Or help your furry friends with seasonal threats by combining the following in a 4 oz. spray bottle:
• 10 drops LAVENDER Essential Oil
• 10 drops Lemon Essential Oil
• 10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
• 10 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
Add Copaiba Essential Oil if desired.
CARPET RUG FRESHENER RECIPE
• 3/4 c. Baking Soda
• 1/3 c. Borax
• 10 drops Essential Oil (LAVENDER, Lemongrass, Cleansing Blend are all good choices)
Mix together and let sit for at least four hours before use. Sprinkle on carpet. Let sit for at least 20–30 minutes to neutralize odors. Vacuum normally. Do not allow pets near the area until it is vacuumed up: take them on a walk or play with them in another room until it's set for 20– 30 minutes.
DE-SKUNKING PASTE RECIPE
• 1 qt. Hydrogen Peroxide
• 1/4 c. Baking Soda
• 1 tsp. (or a little more) Liquid Dishwashing Soap (Dawn works great)
Combine into a paste. Add a drop of Lavender or ROMAN CHAMOMILE Essential Oil. Let it set on them for at least ten minutes before rinsing off.
If that doesn't work, you can use the Protective Blend Laundry Detergent, as it is enzyme based: one tsp. per gallon of water, letting it sit on them for ten minutes, and thoroughly rinse.
